When I was younger I never used to like music because I thought it was loud, irritating & a piece of crap. Then when I was 11 years old I then started to enjoy listening to music because everybody around me would have had there phones, MP3s, iPods etc out playing music. At the age of 11 I didn’t really know about how music was presented for example: I didn’t know the four bar rule, I couldn’t identify different genres of music etc. Eventually I started to listen to different types of music like hip hop, Dance, Rnb, Funk, Electric & many more. As I started to listen to loads of different types of music I came to the conclusion that I wanted to be an artist. So I started out MCing but I thought that it was too complicated for me & I wouldn’t last long in the music industry. How I started to make Dance music was when I saw my brother on his laptop using some music software which seemed fun and interesting to use as it can produce good music. Also when I was young I thought making music would be extremely difficult with having the ability to read music and try & perform it with a series of different instruments. A couple of days later I brought the music software of the internet & then started using it, I knew that if I wanted to do music & become a big artist I would have had to listen to loads of different genres to understand the full meaning of music & how it was structured. As I used the music software I was struggling to do an actual song because all I could have done was make a short crap drum beat (rubbish).Months later I was able to make a melodic tune which would have lasted about 15 seconds (Still crap but I was getting there slowly) Then on 25th October 2008 I then attended a pointblank music course which was based in ilford I then used a completely different music software which I didn’t like at all as most of all my other colleagues was making professional songs with vocals on top which made me work day & night on the music software that I used I started to make low standard songs which would of lasted up to 3 minutes (good but I felt there was still room for some improvement). The music course was over after 10 weeks & I felt like I didn’t gain anything out of it & then my music was then paused as I felt there was no use, A few weeks after I went for a video production course at the same place still with pointblank. We started to make films but this wasn’t my full dream, when we came to editing the film I put one of my best tracks at the time then the teachers came over & commented on my music saying it sounded brilliant. One of the teachers told me that I should carry on with my music; this inspired me to make music of the highest standard up until today. As I kept on making music I finally felt that I was making positive movement towards possibly a lifetime career. I know make a series of songs and now I could also make albums at 14 years of age (I have finally got there). Why Dance Music:I chose dance music because it is herd almost everywhere you go & it gets played a number of times in the club, House parties even on the radio.I also believed that Dance & Electric Music is interesting & in the near future Dance music would be high in popularity I do different types of music all round the year as I do Techno, Dance, Electro, Drum & Bass, Dubstep, House & many more.
